This is another incense stick which came in an incense assortment pack labeled ‘The Fragrances of Japan Collection – The Four Seasons‘.
This particular incense stick is called Kaguyama in Spring.
I had to research what exactly Kaguyama was. Apparently it is a region of Japan. It is a bit south of Kyoto. Interesting.
The manufacturer describes the incense as:
Inspired by the soft spring breezes that caress Mt. Kaguyama.
Incense Review
So, onto the incense stick itself.
This appears to be a low-smoke variant.
The stick itself is completely black and seems compressed.
The main ingredient in this is supposedly acacia.
At the beginning, it has a light floral scent, which reminds me slightly of the iris flower. A slight woodiness, perhaps sandalwood, develops later on, but it’s not very prominent.
That being said, I do like the fragrance.
Low-smoke incense usually isn’t my favorite, but this one is pretty nice.
I hope you enjoyed my review!
