A harmonizing blend of fragrant flowers in a sandalwood base in an Autumn representation sounds rather nice. So, let’s get to it.
Review
The first thing I noticed is that this is advertised as a “low-smoke” incense stick, but yet the incense stick is brown and seems to produce a regular amount of smoke, as well as fragrance. This really doesn’t seem like a low-smoke incense to me.
That being said, it’s quite enjoyable. You can definitely pick up some creamy sandalwood, but the dominant note is floral. I’m pretty sure this is a floral blend of sorts, rather then a single floral note. It almost has that sort of flower vibe found in some older perfumes. I mean, this really smells like flowers. You can still smell a decent bit of sandalwood though.
My feelings while burning it seem to alternate between a floral spring-time and a crisp fall breeze. It’s not quite like Shoyeido Kyoto Autumn Leaves. This is much more airy and floral.
I really like this one. The scent is a bit feminine, but I think the formulation was very well-done. I think with a little bit of added camphor, I may have even fell in love with this incense, but that would just be my personal preference.
