There aren’t many incense companies located in Pakistan. Over 95% of the market is controlled by a company called the Metro Agarbatti Company, who are based in Karachi, Pakistan. Metro was founded in 1970 and is the largest incense manufacturer in Pakistan.
They have recently been trying to grow their export market, so you may start to see incense sticks from them start to show up around the world.
Their sticks are typically a basic variety, often known as ‘perfumed’ or ‘hand-dipped’. They are not a traditional style incense brand, but they do make an affordable product.

Metro Three in One Incense Sticks
Metro ‘Three in One’ is a combination of chariot, jasmine, and sandalwood.
These scents clearly come from synthetic fragrance oils, but they smell relatively good enough.
In my opinion, it would smell better with a deeper sandalwood scent.
Metro Rose Incense Sticks
These Metro rose incense sticks smell pretty good.
Rose is a scent which is hard to mess up, so I’m not surprised this one smells relatively good.
It has an uplifting floral vibe which reminds me of late spring and early summer when the scents of the world become more noticeable.
Metro Woods Incense Sticks
To me, these smell similar to most other ‘woods’ styled incense. What I mean is, they smell similar to toilet bowl cleaner. I don’t necessarily mean that in a bad way, but that’s probably where I would use these at, if anything.
Metro Lavender Incense Sticks
These do smell like lavender, but it’s that synthetic sort of lavender. It lacks the entrancing floral notes of true lavender. I personally wouldn’t recommend these. I didn’t really like them.
