Morning Star Sage Incense Review

Today I am reviewing Morning Star Sage incense sticks.

Morning Star is made in Japan and are one of Nippon Kodo’s budget brands.

I’m not sure if I’ve ever smelled a strictly sage incense stick before, but here we go.

Review

I opened the box of these incense sticks and apparently they come with a cute little ceramic incense burner. It is quite small in size, but it’s quite pretty, and an unexpected addition to the purchase.

The aromatics of this incense stick are sage, herbal, and spicy, with just a little sweetness. There is a tad bit of a perfume quality to the fragrance profile as well. Most dominant are the sage and spice.

It’s actually very enjoyable, if you’re into this sort of fragrance.
